Who We Are

Qualified watchmaker Ashton Tracy trained at the British School of Watchmaking in Manchester, UK where he completed the 3000-hour watchmaking course and obtained his WOSTEP diploma in watchmaking.

He then set up a small workshop in London, UK focusing on vintage chronographs like the Breitling Navitimer and Omega 321 Speedmaster as well as military watches such as the IWC Mk XI. He soon garnered a reputation as an expert among collectors and dealers. His workshop was also the official service center for Linde Werdelin in the UK.

​Eventually moving closer to home, Australia, he once again set up a workshop in Melbourne. His workshop was the official Mont Blanc service center for Australia and undertook modern and vintage repairs on many brands including Rolex, IWC, Panerai, Breitling, Patek Philippe, Omega, Raymond Weil, Oris, Zenith, and more.

After marrying a Canadian Ashton moved to Canada and went to work for Rolex where he was trained on a variety of calibers including the 20xx, 21xx, 22xx, 15xx, 30xx, 31xx, 32xx, 40xx, and 41xx families.​ Due to this training and experience he know focuses on the repair and restoration of vintage watches. 

He is a watchmaking instructor for the Horological Society Of New York, a North American trainer for there FHH, as well as an accomplished horological author, having appeared in numerous online and print publications, as well as the peer reviewed trade journal - The Horological Journal.
